Our goal is to clean the air

WCAFI (World Clean Air Forest Initiative) was founded by Andrew Pothecary in September 2007, in collaboration with several companies and individuals united by a sense of urgency about climate change, deforestation and air pollution.

WCAFI was launched as a social enterprise in the United Kingdom, while developing its bond with the United Nations Environment Programme's ‘Plant for the Planet’ Campaign. Since then, the WCAFI adopted a venture philanthropy business model and created its first Clean Air product the Clean Air Tree Kit.

Our goal will be achieved by building a community online, continuing to educate people about the affects of their behaviour, tying up with other organisations and encouraging change.

We believe that keeping our air clean is not necessarily about changing everything about our daily lives or daily consumption, but instead using things we want to do all the time to produce good side effects rather than bad ones.
