Botantical paper that grows

I came across some beautiful paper, and then I found it also grows...

I have recently been introduced to this very cool company that sells growing paper.  As you can imagine, I just had to make a blog post.  WCAFI has its growing globes, and now we've found the perfect paper to match.

Heidi Reimer Epp is the owner and she set up Botanical Paper Works back in 1996.  Their paper really seems quite special and also widely used.  To make matters even better it is totally tree-free!  They make their paper using a base fiber of cotton or 100% post consumer waste, and North American wildflower seeds.

As you can imagine such beautiful paper has many uses from wedding invitations and business cards to plantable confetti and envelopes.  When you have finished with the paper you can plant it in your garden and watch the flowers come to bloom.

Pay them a visit this Christmas to send some truly unique Christmas cards.
